Artwork Questions
How do I upload files?
Login, expand the desired Element folder or subfolder, click "upload file". It’s that simple. If you don’t have a login password, get in touch with your sales rep and find out how to get one.
What formats does KDM require for receiving artwork?
We accept most commonly used formats for Mac, as well as PC. Check out our "Art Checklist" for a much more detailed answer to this question.
What line screen do you print?
When we screen print, typically we print 33, 45 or 63 line, depending on what size you need printed. For offset, it is usually 133 or 150 line. Call your sales rep to see what line screen we can do for your project.
What types of proofs are available?
Depending upon what process or how many colors we’re going to print for you, we could give you any number of proofs. There’s one that fits your requirement. We could send you a matchprint, a digital printout, a color laser print, e-mail you a JPEG, PDF or EPS. We could also, upload a PDF to our customer login area for you to view on-line from our web site. Contact your sales rep and let them know what type of proof you need.

What’s the difference between 4 color and 4 color process?
4 color printing involves any combination of 4 PMS colors. 4 color process printing involves printing using only Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black. Using these 4 colors, just about any color can be achieved, as well as photographic printing. Contact your sales rep for samples of some of our Award Winning 4 color process printing.

How do I start the process if I’d like some creative work done?
If this is your first time working with us, give us a call, and we’ll put you in touch with our marketing team who’ll discuss your needs with you in detail. If you’re currently a customer, give your sales rep a call, and together with our marketing team, they can get you just what you need.
What will the creative process cost me?
The charges for your concepts vary from program to program, depending on creative development hours and the size of the overall program. In many instances there is NO charge for conceptual work. We look at that as part of doing business and building relationships with our clients.
Who have you done conceptual work for?
Our marketing department has developed numerous programs for many leading retail establishments along with leading manufacturers. Samples of these programs will be presented during your initial meeting with your KDM Sales Representative.
General Questions
What are your credit terms?
Credit terms are as individual as each of our customers. Get in touch with your sales rep, and we can get started on setting up terms that would be right for you. It’s as simple as filling out a few forms that they can fax or e-mail to you today!
Do you have catalog pricing?
Our pricing is figured on a per job basis. By doing this, we can give you the up-to-the-minute market prices on materials. This could make a big difference on your overall project price. Thus affording you the most competitive price we can give. Contact your sales rep for a price quote today.

What is the largest size you can print?
We have the ability to print sizes as small as 1/2" x 1/2" decals, to as large as 4’ x 40’ banners. With the large variety of presses in our facility, we can accomodate just about any size you can think of.
Can you recommend the correct materials for our project?
One of the things that makes KDM right for you is we have a sales and sales support team that has over a hundred years of P.O.P. work experience. Give us call, and put us to the test.

Production Questions
What are your lead times?
Our lead times vary depending upon a number of different factors. With our wide variety of presses, we can accomodate most lead times, no matter how short you might think it is. Contact your sales rep now to see how FAST we can turn your job!
How do I find out the status of my project at KDM?
Give your sales rep a call, they can pinpoint where your project is at any given time during the production process.
Can I track my project online?
At this time, this option is not available. We can, however, tell you the status of your project with just a phone call or e-mail from you. We have a full time sales support staff that’s available even if your sales rep is out of the office. Just give them a call, and we can give you an update while you're holding on the line.
What ink lines do you use?
We currently use 2 major ink manufacturers. Extensive testing as well as hands on quality control are always being done within our company and at our ink vendors facility, to ensure that the inks we use on your project are perfect for your application.
